The Rainbow House Emergency Shelter is an emergency shelter for children of all ages.The purpose of the Rainbow House Children’s Emergency Shelter is to temporarily house children who are in foster care. They also assists parents who request placement for their children during a family crisis. On Sunday, December 2, 2018, the brand representatives of Shop The Impact donated toys and supplies to the Rainbow House Shelter in Columbia, Mo.In addition, the brand representatives volunteered with the kids at the shelter. Overall, this was an amazing experience for the Shop The Impact team as well as the Rainbow House. The brand representatives will be returning to volunteer in 2019.


"Cedar Creek is a non-profit agency that has served the Mid-Missouri area since 1988. Led by Founder and Executive Director Karen Grindler, the center provides therapy to more than 200 riders per year in 8-week Spring, Summer and Fall sessions. Cedar Creek requires many volunteers to assist with the therapy and make riding safe and fun for the people who come each week. Cedar Creek is accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship organization, the umbrella organization for all Equine Therapy" - (Cedar Creek). The official brand representatives volunteered here for two fridays as a part of their service. Their daily activitiy consisted of side walking a child on a horse, helping with putting moch/wood products on the trail, and assisting with farm labor.
